Let me start by introducing myself. I’m a mother of 3, Nana to 6, and a survivor of Domestic Violence. I hate the way that sounds in my head, but 20 years ago this is who I became. If you don’t know, I am a African American female. I grew up on the good side of my hometown in southern Georgia. I made good enough grades to have a scout from a good college offer me a academic scholarship. I didn’t take it. I stayed and went to college at home. I studied Radiology Technology. I was in the top percentage in my class. I had 1 quarter to go, but quit. I married at 23 and 10 years, 3 children later, I was assaulted by my estranged husband. This is where my story begans ..
