It’s had enough to have gone through trauma for days, weeks and mostly years, then come out and hear your family say so many hurtful things. Maybe they don’t understand, but in my case, they didn’t care to understand.
If you are a family member, spouse, or friend, here’s a starter list. I pray you can be a bit more compassionate towards the one who is trying to understand how they have come to the place they are currently at.
